Attention all thrill-seeking, rope-wrangling, jacket-wearing legends!
Join us this Monday at the Scout Hall for an evening of mildly controlled chaos and outdoor adventure.
Activity 1: The Giant’s Ladder
Think: knot-tying meets climbing meets “I didn’t sign up for leg day.” We’ll be using our knot skills to build a giant ladder that may or may not lead to the clouds (or at least the ceiling). You’ll need teamwork, coordination, and a healthy disregard for gravity.
Activity 2: Human-Powered Rockets
No engines. No fuel. Just pure Cub scout power. Get ready to launch rockets using human effort and the kind of questionable science that makes us proud. Expect lots of laughs, some impressive launches, and possibly a scout achieving low-Earth orbit.
If you can bring an empty 1.25 Litre soft drink bottle. We ahve some from last weeks Mentos challenge
Important Reminders:
🧥 Bring a jacket – it’s going to be cooler than your knot skills.
🔦 Bring a torch – because launching things in the dark is extra fun.
Be there or be a structurally unsound knot.
