Get Ready for Term 2 Cubs!!
Term 2 Start – 28th Apr
Due to Easter Monday on the 21st, we wont be back till Monday 28th April. However, note the potential attendance at the Dawn Service for Cubs and Joeys. No sleep over for younger Cubs, just those that are looking transfer up to Scouts soon.
Term 2 Ideas
We got lots of good ideas from our Unit Council. Thanks for those that could attend. We will have to discuss and build on all those ideas for our Term 2 – STEAM theme. We are looking for volunteers to run these crazy activities. You can make it into a SIA!

ANZAC Dawn Service Sleepover – Cubs 10+yrs old/Scouts/Venturers/Rovers
24/25th April
As we do every year, we will be attending the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Shrine of Remembrance in the city.
We’ll be having a ‘sleepover’ in the hall the night before, then getting up super early to head the Shrine for the dawn service, followed by breakfast at Macca’s on the way back to the Scout hall.
Full uniform (shirt and scarf) is required for the dawn service.
When:
8:00pm Thursday 24th April – 8:30am Friday 25th April
Cost: Money for breakfast at Maccas
Drop off and pick up: King George VI Reserve, Scout hall
